Widely applicable to production sites, it can measure the surface roughness of various machined parts. Based on the selected measurement conditions, it calculates corresponding parameters and clearly displays all measurement parameters on the LCD screen.

[Product Principle]

When measuring the surface roughness of a workpiece, the sensor is placed on the surface to be measured. The internal drive mechanism of the instrument moves the sensor at a constant speed along the measured surface. The sensor detects the surface roughness through a built-in sharp stylus. The roughness of the workpiece surface causes the stylus to displace, which changes the inductance of the sensor's coil. This generates an analog signal proportional to the surface roughness at the output of the phase-sensitive rectifier. After amplification and level conversion, the signal enters the data acquisition system. The DSP chip processes the collected data with digital filtering and parameter calculation. The measurement results are displayed on the LCD screen and can be communicated to a PC for data analysis and printing.
